Is There Really Grants for Women Only?

Yes, there are hundreds of grants available for women. That doesn't necessarily mean that there are grants for women only. You see, grants are funded by the US Government so you it would be discrimination if they only awarded certain grants to women. But, there are many grants that would more than likely be used by women only.

The US Government understands the important and has been providing millions of dollars towards minority grants every year to ensure this continures. Many people think these are 'free' or 'unfair' but this is not the case with minority grants. They have and continure to work very well for the US. For the purpose of a minority grant, the definition of minority...are those of Black, Native American/Alaskan Native, or Pacific Island races, or of Hispanic ethnic origin. Included in the many minority grant programs, a priority to students with a disability, international students studying in the US and to a US citizens who is a member of an ethnic or racial minority group. The goal is to encourage under-represented minorities and attract more minority and disadvantaged people to obtain academic funding for programs in their community for planning and development. Watchout Women! Government Grant Scams

Please take this into consideration! Unfortunatley, there are people and companies alike that try to take advantage of us. So how do you keep from falling victim to these grant scams?

Here are a few tips for acquiring grant information.
How much do want me to pay? Remember, NO ONE can guarantee you'll receive a grant, business grant, minority grants, women grant or any other grant. We can however increase our chances of obtaining grant money by learning how to apply...such as with a FREE Grant Program and not a paid grant program!
This shows who is out for profit right away. If they are charging for a grant program then obviously they can't follow their own "guaranteed" advice and apply for grant money.
Also, they'll have you pay the fee and in return you get back some information but with one catch. The organizations on the list don't typically give any grants to individuals to start or grow a business. They alos contain grant sources like..Bill Gates Charity or some other very known charitable foundations. These programs are NOT what you are looking for because the amount you could receive form such foundations is not even close to the amount you could receive from the government.
If you are considering paying for a home business grant service, check the company out with the Better Business Bureau for complaints. You'll also find these grant packages are usually in the price range of about $25-$50 and they'll appear as though they come in a box with their logo...not true. Also, if they are a reputable company they won't use "ClickBank" to process their transactions.
FREE is the best way to go...because they're probably getting funded by grants!
